Andrea Pineda-Salgado is a bilingual journalist based in New York City. She is the community reporter for Epicenter-NYC, a community journalism initiative. At Epicenter-NYC, she’s written stories about vaccine equity and the battle to fund excluded workers and immigrant tenants who were victims of a fire. Andrea is a 2021 graduate of New York University, where she earned a B.A. in Journalism and Media, Culture and Communications.
